I shall be forever thankful for the interview with Mr. Jones …
He asked one question…. What do you want from this experience?
obviously $$$$$ so I gotthe gig! RIP good soul, RIP
My most heartfelt condolences to you both. Charlie and Jenny, we grew up as friends, sometimes more… your mother and father were very dear to me. I’ve spoken about them often over the years. I remember walking through Aviation Mall after Desert Storm when I bumped into your mom and dad. He gave me a great big bear hug and welcomed me home. He said some other stuff but that’s between us.
He was a good man, and your mom a very good woman, they did right by the both of you. Be proud of them and all they sacrificed for you. God bless you both.
So very sorry for your loss. Mr. Jones was a great boss and a good friend. He will be surely missed in this life but can rest in peace in the next.
Everett was the first superintendent that I worked with in my 20 year career in the Dept. of Corrections. I can readily say that he set a high bar in always being firm but fair to those who under his charge. As the Facility Health Services Director at Mt. McGregor Correctional Facility, I always knew that Mr. Jones had my back in administrative decision making. I feel honored to have worked both for and with him through some challenging times. As a colleague and friend I send his family my sincerest condolences. They have lost a loved one and we who knew him have fond memories of his life and accomplishments. He wil be missed and will be in my thoughts and prayers. RIP
I worked with Everett for 18 years and I am glad for it. He was an honest and trusted advisor..and a straightforward, old fashioned person to work with and for.
