HUDSON FALLS – Eleanor Marie Huguley, 88, of Hudson Falls, went into the arms of the Lord, on Saturday, November 11, 2017, at the Glens Falls Hospital.
Born on July 8, 1929, she was the daughter of the late Frederick and Madalyn (Carpenter) Smith.
On August 18, 1945, she married Albert Charles Huguley at St. Mary’s Church in Glens Falls.
Eleanor loved to laugh and be around her family and friends, she was always ready to hug them.
She enjoyed crocheting, gardening, bingo and going to horse races.
In addition to her parents, Eleanor was predeceased by her brother, William “Bill” Smith.
She is survived by her husband of 72 years, Albert C. Huguley, Sr. of Hudson Falls; her children, Albert C. Huguley, Jr. and his fiancée, Barbara Sheehan of Hudson Falls and Theresa M. St. John and her husband, Philip of South Glens Falls; her grandchildren, Albert C. Huguley, III, and his wife, Candy of Hudson Falls, Michael Huguley and his wife, Linda of Glens Falls, Susan Lee Keith and her husband, Terry of Fort Ann and Jason St. John and his wife, Faith of Argyle; several great grandchildren; her sister, Peggy Waite of Hudson Falls; and many nieces and nephews.
Friends may call on Thursday from 2 to 5p.m. at the Carleton Funeral Home, Inc., 68 Main Street in Hudson Falls.
All other services will be private.
