HUDSON FALLS – Dale Irene (Inglee) Palmer, 76, of Hudson Falls, passed away unexpectedly at her home on Tuesday, September 10, 2013.
Born on August 27, 1937, in Glens Falls, she was the daughter of the late Benjamin and Madeline (Belden) Inglee.
Dale was a graduate of Hudson Falls High School.
At one time she was a manager for Fannie Farmer Candy Store.
Dale was a communicant of St. Mary’s/St. Paul’s Church in Hudson Falls. She was active with the Senior Citizens in Hudson Falls and enjoyed going to their community center. She was a member of the Red Hats, AARP and well known for her spaghetti dinners and “Scotch a Roo’s”.
Her life centered around family, especially grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by Edward Palmer, her brother, Bruce Inglee, sister Diane Cronin, brother in law, Bill Cronin, sister in law, Joan Barton and mother and father in law, Marion and Russell Palmer.
She is survived by her children, Kim Petit and her husband Charles of Hartford, Scott Palmer and his wife, Joanne of Hudson Falls, Michael Palmer and his wife, Anne of Hudson Falls and Paige Wildey and her husband, Herbert of Hudson Falls; her grandchildren, Michael Petit, Andrea and Mike Romeo, Nicole and Craig Bosma, Stephen Petit and his fiancé, Corrine, Gabrielle and Paul Martini, Drew Petit and Cindy, Christopher Petit, Robert Petit, Brendan Petit, Jonathan and Kristen Palmer, Brianna Palmer and fiancé, Chris, Joseph Palmer and Sarah, Nicholas Wildey, Kaitlin and Zane Allen; her great-grandchildren, Alexander and Cameron Palmer, Nicholas and Vincent Romeo, Skyler Allen and Bryanna Bosma; her sisters, Carol Hagan and her husband Fred, Claudia Breeyear and her husband Bill, and Donzelle Collyer; her sister in law, Betty Inglee and her brother in law, Carl Barton; many special nieces and nephews, whom she loved dearly ; and many close friends, especially, Sue Nassivera and Claire Keech.
Friends may call on Friday, September 13, 2013 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Carleton Funeral Home, Inc., 68 Main St., Hudson Falls.
A Funeral mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. on Saturday at St. Mary’s/St. Paul’s Church, on the park in Hudson Falls with the Rev. Thomas Babiuch, pastor officiating,
The Rite of Committal will follow at Union Cemetery in the town of Fort Edward.
Dale’s family suggests that memorial donations in her memory be made to The Senior Center of Kingsbury &Fort Edward, 78 Oak Street, Hudson Falls, NY 12839 or St. Mary’s/St. Paul’s Church, 11 Park Place, Hudson Falls, NY 12839.
Dale, you left so suddenly and so unexpectedly but you’ve left us all with so many happy memories. You will be missed greatly!

I want to offer my sympathy for the loss of your Mother. I remember visiting HF with the Hagan girls and Dale was always there to keep an eye on us.
My impression was that she was a sweet woman and a good Mom.
