Dear Lori, Steve, Dorrie, Christina & families.
We are with you in spirit this morning as you say “Farewell and Celebrate your Mother’s Life.”
Carla was a wonderful friend to me through the years. From when we first met as neighbors in Shady Pines in 1962-63 until we last saw each other at our 50th Wedding Anniversary luncheon – July 19, 2009. I was so sad the last time I called on the phone in December 2012 and she could no longer say a few words to me.
Carla was a strong woman both spiritually and mentally and worked so hard physically. She was a great seamstress and up until we moved from South Glens Falls to Manassas, Va I had a few items she made and I hated to part with them.
I am confident she is safely home in the arms of the Lord.
Please accept our sincere sympathy.
Mary & Tom Loren
