GANSEVOORT – Beverly Jean Duggan passed on to her next journey on Saturday, January
13th, surrounded by her family.
Born July 23rd, 1927 in Glens Falls to Milton Kingsley and Leona
Gonyea. Bev was the matriarch of a large and ever-growing family. She
was the happiest surrounded by friends and family, and being the
center of attention.
Bev loved eating chocolates along with telling those around her what
to do, and exactly how to do it. She enjoyed being “on the go”, but
especially getting up and going to Lena’s Adult Day Services for (yet
another) cup of coffee and seeing her friends.
She got much happiness from being able to live with and have her own
hand in raising 2 of her grandchildren, Avery and Mackenna Huestis.
She is predeceased by her husband, Robert “Harry” Duggan, her parents,
a sister, Ruth “Peanut” Beams, a brother, Walter Deyoe, A
daughter-in-law, June Duggan, a son-in-law, Robert Natale, and several
grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Left to cherish her memory are all eight of her children, Robert (June)
Duggan, Bonnie (Earl) Bennett, John (Shirley) Duggan, Michael (Sue)
Duggan, Jeanne (Frank) Hubbard, Kathy (Robert) Natale, Vicky (Dominic)
Rossi, and Lisa (Anthony) Huestis.
Left also to carry on her Fiery spirit and strength are numerous
grandchildren (who can forever fight over who is the favorite, but we
all know who that is), great-grandchildren, and even great-great
grandchildren.
Bev would want everyone to know that she did exactly what she said she
would do- live to party it up at her 90th birthday celebration, and
enjoy these past holidays with all of her family and friends.
Friends may call on Thursday, from 4 to 7 P.M. at the Carleton Funeral Home, Inc., 68 Main Street in Hudson Falls.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 A.M. on Friday at the funeral home.
Following the funeral service on Friday, friends are welcomed to
gather at the South Glens Falls Fire House on Reynolds Road in South
Glens Falls.
The family would like to give a special thanks to her aides; Robin,
Linda, and Nancy. She loved her time with them and the care and time
they gave to her. The family is also very thankful for her nurse
Belinda on T3-who helped guide her on her final journey.
Family would also like to extend thanks and appreciation to Connie and
Peter Bondzinski of Lena’s Adult Day Services and their caring staff
for giving Bev a community to connect with and a place to enjoy her
afternoons. |

Sorry to hear about your lost!God bless all ofyou.
We are saddened to hear of Mrs. D’s passing! We have fond memories of living between Tony and Lisa and Kathy and Bob @ Moose Hollow when we first moved to the area with our three kids (2002)…Oh how wonderful Mrs. D would be with our baby Hannah….She used to hold her and ask me when the baby would grow some hair already?! . She always had a sweet smile and a twinkle in her eye and adored her big beautiful family….She was a blessing to all who had the pleasure of her company and wisdom. What a long wonderful life she lived! She will be missed as much as she was adored!
God speed, Mrs. D…..Until we meet again…
Mike, Chrissy, Hannah Rose, Mikey III, and Shannon (& Dennis) Kissane
