HUDSON FALLS – Betty J. “Beebe” Stevens, 66, of Tripoli Road, passed away peacefully with her family by her side, on Monday, May 16, 2016, at Glens Falls Hospital.
Born August 18, 1949, in Glens Falls, she was the daughter of the late Willis Beebe and Dora C. (Johnson) Beebe.
Betty was a graduate of Granville School.
On June 10, 1972, she married Dennis Stevens in Granville.
Betty worked for Sherwood Medical and Mallinckrodt in Argyle for over 30 years. She enjoyed bird watching, going to camp and puzzle books. Spending time with her family was her biggest enjoyment, she even made a family diary in photo albums.
Besides her parents, Betty was predeceased by her two brothers, Richard J. Beebe and Thomas E. Beebe.
Survivors include her husband of 44 years, Dennis Stevens of Hudson Falls; her son, Jeffrey Stevens and his wife, Renee of Kingsbury; her two brothers, Robert Beebe and his wife, Gretchen and Timothy Beebe; several step grandchildren; her special sister-in-law, Joyce Wren; as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Friends may call Friday, from 11 to 1 pm at the Carleton Funeral Home, Inc., 68 Main Street in Hudson Falls
A Funeral Service will follow the calling hours at 1 p.m.
Burial will follow at Morningside Cemetery in the town of Hartford.

Betty ,was a very kind, caring,person,Always family attentative. I love her very much as many did.Just talking with her on the 6th wish I had called her again after family got together 7th,she could have told me she enjoyed seeing many. she went to soon,but I am glad she will not suffer pain no more.RIP BETTY ,I LOVE YOU.To Dennis ,Jeffery, Bob Tim,the family and special friend Joyce, you all take care—-she will be greatly missed by many of us and specialy by you.
