FORT EDWARD- Alice Mae (Collier) Kamburelis passed away peacefully on January 18, 2018, at the Fort Hudson Health Care Center in Fort Edward.
Born on May 22, 1935, in Glens Falls, she was the daughter of the late William H. and Lillian (Russell) Collier.
Alice graduated from Glens Falls High School in 1954 and married her husband, Pericles Kamburelis, two years later, on November 22, 1956. He passed away on April 19, 2011.
Alice was an avid bingo player and often socialized at the Moreau Center with friends. She enjoyed painting and knitting, but the love of her life was her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Besides her parents and husband, she was predeceased by her two sons, Stephen and Aaron Kamburelis.
Alice is survived by her children, Connie Colvin and her husband, John of Fort Edward, Paul Kamburelis of Florida and Karen Holcomb and her fiancé, Ronnie Morehouse; her cousin, Patricia Jones of Argyle; and several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews- especially the Bates girls.
Services will be at the convenience of the family.
The family suggests that donations in Alice’s name be made to The Community Hospice, 179 Lawrence Street, Saratoga Springs, NY 12866.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Carleton Funeral Home Inc. 68 Main Street, Hudson Falls, New York
